What is WSOT 2025?

WSOT, the World Series of Trading, is the world’s largest crypto trading competition! The total prize pool is up to $ 10,000,000!

What is the WSOT 2025 Overall Prize Pool Breakdown?

Who can participate in WSOT 2025?

All users from Bybit’s supported countries who have completed Standard Identity Verification (KYC) or above can participate in all WSOT competitions. API users, VIP users, and Pro 1 & 2 accounts are welcome to join the event.

 

Notes:

• Pro 3 and above accounts, Market Makers, and Institutional users are not eligible to participate in this event.

• This event is not open to users in EEA regions.

• Users can participate with up to 4 unified trading subaccounts and 1 unified trading main account.

• WSOT Onchain Wave does not require registration. As long as you meet the trading requirements during the event period, your participation will be recorded automatically.

What are the advantages of using sub-accounts to participate in WSOT 2025?

The WSOT 2025 allows the use of standard UTA sub-accounts, enabling users to keep funds completely separate. This allows for more diverse and flexible trading strategies without mutual interference, making management easier.

 

It helps avoid receiving any airdrops or trading bonus rewards during the competition that could affect the account's net value and the calculation of the account's profit and loss %.

 

 

 

Besides the trading competition, what other events are there in WSOT 2025?

Squad Registration

How can I become a Squad Leader in Squad Showdown?

Prepare your account (UTA Main or Sub Account) and visit the WSOT homepage. Click on Apply Now, and fill out the squad leader application form.

 

 

Reminder: Applications containing any sensitive terms will be automatically rejected. Special characters such as spaces, “/“, “%”, and “.” are supported.

 

Your application will be reviewed within 1-2 work days after submission. You will receive an email notification regarding the result of your application. Once the squad is created successfully, you can start recruiting your squad members.

 

 

 

What are the benefits of becoming a Squad Leader?

• Earn more rewards: If your squad wins, as the leader, you will receive 20% of the team’s prize pool, on top of any other rewards.

• Top 30 Squad Leaders with the highest number of eligible traders in their squad will equally share $30,000.

• The first 100 Squad Leaders who register and successfully form a squad that enters the WSOT main competition will equally share $10,000.

• VIP Exclusive Rewards: The top 30 VIP Squad Leaders (based on squad rankings) can receive:

Can I change the squad name after creating my squad?

Once a squad is successfully created, its name cannot be changed. Please make sure you’ve entered your desired squad name before submitting your squad application.

 

 

 

I am a squad leader. Can I disband the squad?

No, the squad leader cannot disband the squad. However, if your squad has fewer than the required minimum of 10 members by Aug 27, 2025, 9:30 AM UTC, the squad will be automatically disbanded, and you and your members will be randomly assigned to other public squads without a password.

 

 

 

My Squad Leader application was rejected. How do I reapply?

You can go back to the WSOT 2025 homepage and resubmit your Squad Leader application.

In the Squad Showdown, can I change my squad after signing up?

Yes, you can change your team freely until Aug 27, 2025, 9:30 AM UTC. If the squad has fewer than 10 members after Aug 27, 2025, 9:30 AM UTC, they will be assigned automatically to a random team without a password. Share your team and recruit more members!

 

 

 

What happens if our team has fewer than 10 members when the competition starts?

The Squad leader and members will receive an email notification 24 hours before the competition informing them that the squad has fewer than 10 members. If there are still less than 10 squad members by Aug 27, 2025, 9:30 AM UTC, the squad will be dismissed, and all members, including the squad leader, will be randomly assigned to public squads without a password. Share your squad and recruit more members!

 

 

 

Why was I changed to a different squad after the competition started?

Teams with fewer than 10 members will be disbanded on August 27, 2025, at 9:30 AM UTC, and all members will be automatically assigned to a random team without a password. Share your team and recruit more members!

 

 

 

How can I join the Squad Showdown?

Go to the WSOT 2025 page, click on Register. You can choose the squad you want to join and wait for the competition to begin.

 

Notes:

• You can use up to 1 UTA main account and 4 UTA sub-accounts to complete your registration.

• Asset calculations will be based on the UTA account balance within each main account or sub-account.

• Trading volume and P&L will be calculated separately for the main account and each sub-account.

• If you register during the late registration phase, you will not be able to change your squad after selecting it.

 

 

 

Can I join the same squad with multiple accounts in the Squad Showdown?

Yes, all of your participating accounts can join the same squad. Please note that if the squad you selected has fewer than the required minimum of 10 members by August 27, 2025, at 9:30 AM UTC, the squad will be disbanded. Your five accounts will then be randomly assigned to other squads without a password.

 

 

 

What is a squad password?

When creating a squad, the squad leader can choose to set a password to restrict who can join (e.g., family members or members of a private group). To join such a squad, please contact the squad leader directly to obtain the password.

 

 

 

What are the rewards for Early Bird registration for WSOT 2025?

WSOT 2025 has introduced a new Early Bird registration reward for squad leaders this year:

• Early Bird Squad Leader Reward: The first 100 squad leaders whose squads have at least 10 qualified members after the main competition begins will each receive $100. The reward will be distributed after the event ends in a single batch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Preheat Event

What is the Preheat Event?

Before the WSOT main competition begins, we’ve prepared a Preheat Event for all users to participate in. The event includes:

 

1) New User Exclusive Task

Deposit Task: Deposit > 100 USDT during the task period

 

2) Referral Task

Invite a new friend to register for a Bybit account and join the WSOT. To be a Qualified Referee, a new Bybit user has to complete KYC verification, successfully register for WSOT, and deposit at least $100 within 7 days.

 

3) Daily Trading Milestones

Complete different trading volume milestones to earn a Mystery Box. The higher your trading volume, the higher the level of the Mystery Box you can earn. The Tasks will refresh daily.

 

4) Daily P&L% Leaderboard

Maintain at least 100 USDT in equity to be eligible to join the daily P&L% leaderboard (equity must be maintained at the start of each day).

 

To qualify for rewards, users must reach a daily trading volume of at least $10,000. Each day, the top 500 participants on the leaderboard will share a 20,000 USDT prize pool.

 

5) Trader’s Camp

Specially designed trading courses are available every two days for 10 days. The first 200 users to complete the course and answer all questions correctly for each session will share a $4,000 prize pool.

 

 

 

I’m participating in WSOT 2025 using a sub-account. Can I join the Preheat Event?

Yes, you can participate in the Preheat Event using a sub-account, but only for the Daily Trading Milestones.

 

 

 

Why didn’t I receive any rewards after completing the Preheat event tasks?

Rewards will be distributed to your account within 3 days after the risk control review is completed at the end of the task period. Please be patient.

• Rewards are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Any user who violates event or platform rules will be disqualified from receiving rewards.
