The P2P on Bybit platform doesn’t support automatic payment, so users need to manually transfer fiat from their respective online banking or payment application to the advertisers once the order is confirmed.

 

 

 

Step 1: Please click on More → P2P to enter the P2P trading page. If you want to buy USDT then go to the Buy tab, choose your preferred advertisement, and click on Buy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Enter the amount of fiat you want to pay, or the number of coins you want to receive, and click on Buy to proceed.

 

 

You’ll be redirected to the order page, where you will need to transfer your fiat to the seller’s bank account within the specified time. Please verify that all of your order details are correct before proceeding.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: On the order page, check the payment method provided by the advertiser and choose your preferred method to make payment. You will need to go to your online banking or third-party payment application to transfer the fiat currency to the advertiser, in accordance with the account information provided by the advertiser.

 

 

Notes:

— The name on your bank account must be consistent with your registered name on Bybit. Otherwise, the advertiser may cancel the order and issue a refund.

— Make sure not to use sensitive words in your reference ID (if any) such as “BTC/USDT purchase” when transferring fiat to your advertiser, otherwise the transfer may fail. 

— P2P does not charge any transaction fees for Takers, while Makers are subject to transaction fees that may vary by fiat currency, advertiser level or advertisement type. Please consult this article to see the rates applicable on P2P. Additionally, traders may need to pay transaction fees to the payment provider based on the selected payment method.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Click on Payment Completed once you've completed the payment. Wait patiently for the advertiser to process the coin transfer.

 

 

 

Once the coins you've purchased have been successfully released by the seller, you can go to your Funding Account to verify them, along with your transaction history.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tips: Failed to Make a Payment in Time

If the fiat currency you transfer is not paid in time, it could be due to several reasons. Here are some tips for your reference:

• Please make sure that the details for the advertiser’s receiving account are correct.

• Please confirm whether the payment method you’re using supports real-time transfers. Otherwise, it will take some time to complete the payment.

• You can contact your bank or third-party payment platform to find out why the deposit was unsuccessful.
